The Cayman Islands, comprising of the Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, & Little Cayman, that lies approximately 290 Km’s to the north-west of Jamaica. They collectively had a quite colorful geo-political history, being Jamaican dependencies til 1959, and after that a part territory allied with the Federation of the West Indies til 1962, and after the Federation’s termination, becoming a British dependency, with a fresh constitution drafted in 1972. Sightseeing is one of the two main manufacturing of the Cayman Islands, finance being the other one.
